Shipping Information

All orders will be shipped during usual shipping days Monday - Friday and generally within 48 hours of the order being placed.

We will contact you prior to dispatching your order if your order requires additional tickets due to excessive size or weight, or the wrong freight option has been inadvertently selected, i.e. if you live at a rural address you will need to select rural delivery

Rural delivery/big bulky orders may take longer to ship

The Chatham Islands will require quoting and the freight is once a week. Also note, there are some items which require us to quote you for freight. International shipping is not available

Boats, Motors & Trailers are subject to personalised freight rates and are not included in the standard rates applied to fishing and boating accessories

Any courier items must be thoroughly checked before signing for delivery. At this stage you will need to make sure your products are in good condition. In the event of damaged goods, you will need to need to report these withing 24 hours to qualify for a claim/replacement of the item.

All parcels will need to be signed for. If no one is available, the courier will leave a note advising you where to call.

Product Availability

Not all products are available on the website and when this occurs, we will look to have your items shipped to you within a 3-5-day period. If for any reason we cannot fulfil your order, we will contact you and advise you of your options in the form of either:

Complete refund via internet banking

Waiting for the stock item and sending it separately at no charge

Refunds

In the unlikely event you are not happy with the product you have purchased, or you have had a change of mind then you will have up to 10 days to request a refund. The easiest way to do this would be to talk with one of the team over the phone or via email. Goods returned will need to include all original packaging, sale tags and be in a sellable condition otherwise a refund will not be processed.

Shipping costs will not be refunded, and the returned item will be at your cost. Any item that has been ordered in at a special request may not be returned. Boat City reserve the right to charge a re stocking fee of 10% if needed. Any deductions will be made prior to the amount refunded

All items purchased from the specials tab cannot be returned for credit once purchased.

Boats, motors & trailers are not able to be returned once purchased.

If you have a warranty issue with any product purchased through the Boat City Website, please call or email the staff with your concerns and the issue you are having. If the product is deemed a warranty issue the product will need to be returned to us at your cost. Once the product is received it will be internally assessed and sent back to the distributor if required. We will do our utmost to make this process as quick as possible.

Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Any voucher used must be used in total once only and no change will be given

Laybuy

Laybuy offers online shoppers a simple interest free payment plan that lets you secure your purchase today and pay for it in 6 equal payments, once a week for 6 weeks.

Laybuy performs a credit check to obtain a credit score on all new users upon registration. Once your credit score has been confirmed and your account has been verified, Laybuy assigns your Laybuy limit and you can begin shopping immediately.

The first payment equal to one sixth of the purchase price occurs once your order is completed. The remaining 5 payments are processed each week on the day of the original purchase from your nominated card. No further action is required and all account information including a payment schedule can be viewed, at any time, through your Laybuy account.

Once you select Pay by Laybuy at checkout and complete your purchase, the Merchant ships any products directly to you at the delivery address you have requested. If your purchase is a ticket for a service, this will be emailed to you.
